REGISTATION CLOSES IN
We are honored to have such amazing competitors register for the Warrior Cup this year.
We are excited to prepare the categories for everyone. They will be posted here on Monday, November 1, 2022. Stay tuned!
Warrior Code Taekwon-Do Academy is excited to host the 2022 ITF Warrior Cup on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in San Jose, California.
Events for this year will be Individual Patters, Individual Sparring and Chon-Ji Challenge.
Individual Patterns and Individual Sparring will feature DOUBLE ELIMINATION. What does this mean? A competitor is eliminated after 2 loses, instead of just 1 lost. It means that every competitor has more chances to compete.
The Chon-Ji Challenge is a SINGLE ELIMINATION- "lottery" style division. There are 2 categories: BLACK BELTS and COLOR BELTS. In the Chon-Ji Challenge, every competitor is given a number. 2 numbers are drawn randomly for EACH round. Both competitors will perform Chon-Ji. The winner is allowed to continue (their number is kept) while the other competitor is eliminated from the challenge.
Entry fee is $100 per competitor (regardless of # of divisions/events).
Why do we charge $100?
This is a longer tournament to run and provides more service to the participants.
This event will be one of the MOST PROFESSIONAL EVENTS you have ever attended!
- THE UMPIRES ARE PROFESSIONAL
Wearing offical ITF attire and compenstated for their time and work.
(for information on how to become an upmpire, scroll down)

We reserve the right to merge categories if there are less than 3 competitors within a category. At the time of merging, our committee will do everything we can to create categories which are fair and safe for all participants.
In the event of a divison change, our tournament committee will contact the school owner/instructor/coach to address any issues in advance. The communication will be by email.
We understand that each person attending the event would like to compete and experience a top-level competition (both in and out of the ring). This is why our goal is to host a competition which will be safe, fair AND will provide each competitor, parent and coach with an incredible tournament experience!
We are looking for professional umpires for the event. We will be paying our umpires upon completion of their shift. If you wish to umpire, please fill out the following form: https://bit.ly/WCumpire
